NATO Summit: No classes

Chicago will serve as the host for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) on May 20th and May 21st. Several thousand dignitaries (Heads of State and Government cabinet minister, other high-ranking government officials and NATO’s Secretary General), along with an international press corps of thousands, will be in Chicago during this time.

The U.S. Secret Service has announced that security will be tight around the events at McCormick Place and road closures as well as public transportation will experience delays in a wide area around the city due to the arrival and movements during the day of the dignitaries.

Due to the uncertainty of access to the Academy, the Academy’s schedule will be as follows:

Monday, May 14 Classes end at 1:05 p.m. -- Graduation***:

Tuesday, May 15 Classes as Scheduled***

Wednesday, May 16 Classes as Scheduled***

Thursday, May 17 Classes as Scheduled***

Friday, May 18 Academy Closed***

Monday, May 21 Academy Closed***

Tuesday, May 22 Classes Resume********
